The Client Brief

To create something that felt classic, but still contemporary: elegant and sophisticated . Brand standardization and restructuring of various visual collateral for marketing and visual merchandising purposes. Focused scope of work included brand standardization from as basic as brand color, type face to redesigning various marketing and administrative collateral such as business stationery, invoices, product packaging etc. The client had also presnted their aspiration of creating ‘affordable modern’ .

Strategy

Extensive creative research to identify themes and trends of the traget audience. From this we distilled a few potential themes to explore the brand. These were: ‘modern classics’. ’20th century modernism’,’current’,’ethical modern’, and ‘pur/clean/timeless’. The trends that come in this process was ‘modern classics’. This tied in a number of the key elements: it allowed the brand to feel contemporary, but still familiar and accessible; it gave a sense of lasting heritage, credibility and craft in keeping with the modern aspiration
